Upper Deschutes:
Huge browns, large kokanees, fat rainbows, and big brookies continue to be hooked in various sections of the Upper D. Try egg patterns, rust pine squirrels, cased caddis, Mr. Peacocks, pyschos, flash princes, terrestrials, PMD's & x-caddis.
Fall River:
Fishing is improving on the Fall and some very large trout have been released this week. Adams emergers, irresistibles, rust slump busters, conehead minnow buggers, hunchback baetis & Lady Di's.
Crooked River:
Caddis emerger, christmas prince, rainbow warrior, black beauty, PMD & x-caddis.
Crane Prarie:
Blood rufus, blood rufus, blood rufus. Come in and pick some up for your next Crane outing.
Also, red/black chironomids, conehead S.Twin specials & olive pine squirrels.
East Lake:
Continues to be productive...Try black & olive AP emergers, minnow buggers, cascade rufus, and roxy rainbows.

Upper Deschutes River:
Christmas princes, Mr. Peacock, possie hare's ear, caddis pupae, pine squirrel minnows are hooking fish subsurface. PMD's, & x-caddis are working when the hatches are on.
Fall River:
Fishing continues to be productive on this "fly fishing only" spring creek.
Crooked River:
Fishing well, get out there!
South Twin Lake:
A great family lake that is usually protected from the wind when other lakes are white-capped.Nice rainbows are being landed on minnow buggers, rufus patterns, damsels, and South Twin Specials.
Diamond Lake:
The fishing is good and getting better...what are you waiting for?

DIAMOND LAKE:
Fishing has been great and continues to be. Try chironomids, damsels and callibaetis.
CRANE PRAIRIE:
The channels are producing big rainbows. Chironomids, damsels and streamers are all catching fish.
Rufus patterns are working very well. Be patient & enjoy the view.
UPPER DESCHUTES:
The water level has been low & warm and the fishing has slowed down a bit. Target the big trout in deep pools, under banks, near springs and inlets to the reservoirs. Cased caddis, caddis pupae, mega princes are productive nymphs. PMD's, and caddis are hatching.
FALL RIVER:
Lots of beautiful rainbows and some large browns are being landed.
Rust pine squirrel streamers, Lady Di's are always a good bet.

Lots of trout, a few whitefish. PMD's are hatching strongly, some BWO's and some caddis.
Also try scuds, zebra midges, frenchies, and exploding baetis.
